- You'll get a pre-qualification letter which can be extended after 90 days if needed.

Step 2
We'll request you send us some documents. Here's a list of documents we often ask for. This list is not comprehensive and can grow quickly depending on your personal situation.
- Current paystubs to include the last 30 days
- Current bank statements to include 30 days
- Last 2 years of W-2s
- Signed copies of your last 2 years of Federal tax returns with all schedules
- $555 deposit for appraisal

Step 3
We will review all your paperwork and work on appraisals, title, flood and other miscellaneous items. This usually takes 2 - 3 weeks and we'll provide status updates along the way. You may be required to provide additional documents at this time.
TIP: Respond to your loan officer's requests in a timely manner to help speed up the process.

Step 4
Preparing for closing takes about a week. We'll prepare all the paperwork and coordinate with the title company, First Rate Title. You'll need to review your closing disclosure documents 3 days prior to closing. A couple of things to keep in mind:
- Unless you are rolling closing costs into your loan, a certified check or wire transfer is needed
- If married, your spouse is required to be at closing even if they are not on the loan
