Stop a payment quickly and conveniently

Stopping a check payment doesn’t require a phone call to us anymore - now you just open Digital Banking!


Digital Banking | Stop a Payment

Stop a payment for a check within Digital Banking. If the check has not been cashed, you can issue a stop payment. Complete the form on Digital Banking. Have the check number, amount and date of the check on hand. 

There is a $27.50 fee for every stop payment. Stop payments are unavailable if the check has been deposited into an account. 

Stop payments are not available for wires.
