Supporting the Communities Around Us
When you’re a member at OKCU, you help support the local community. Investing in our neighbors through partnerships, sponsorships and community outreach is an important part of who OKCU is.
The Plaza District, located on 16th street between Penn and Classen Ave, is a thriving district in the heart of Oklahoma City with restaurants, shops, theaters and more. OKCU partners with the Plaza District to revitalize the historic neighborhood.
We are proud to sponsor multiple Plaza events, including LIVE! on the Plaza, which occurs every month and the Plaza District Festival, and many of our local rewards vendors call the Plaza District home.
Stop by the Plaza District and experience this exciting part of town for yourself!
Our Capitol Branch is just a few short blocks from historic Mesta Park - a thriving neighborhood in the heart of Oklahoma City. Mesta Park was established in 1902 and displays beautiful architecture from the early 19th century.
OKCU is a proud sponsor of the annual Mesta Festa, a fundraiser that supports the beautification and improvements of Mesta Park. This exciting event includes live music, food, drinks, family activities and more. We hope to see you there!
OKCU is honored to help support the annual Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon. This event began in 2001 to raise funds for the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum and includes a marathon, half marathon, relay and more.
Each year OKCU hosts a water stop along the marathon route. We love encouraging the more than 24,000 race participants.
We love supporting the community by eating and shopping local, which is what Keep it Local is all about. Many of our Rewards Debit and Credit rewards partners are part of the Keep it Local network. We encourage our members to grab a Keep it Local card and keep their money local.
OKCU is a proud sponsor of Keep it Local's Oklahoma Originals series that highlights local businesses around the state. Check out the entire series here.

Located at 16th and Blackwelder, the snow cone stand will give employees the opportunity to save money for higher education, transportation, and other future endeavors.
