Do I have to pay a fee to have a Debit Card?

No, there is no fee to obtain a Debit Card or to make a purchase. All OKCU Checking accounts receive unlimited ATM withdrawals per month.

How often can I use my Visa Debit Card?

For all accounts (excluding Student Checking) you may withdraw a maximum of $500 or your account balance (whichever is less) from an Automated Teller Machine (ATM) per day, per card. In addition, you may use your Debit Card to purchase up to $1,500 in goods and services each day, as long as your available balance is sufficient to cover the aggregate of all purchases. Student Checking accounts may withdraw a maximum of $100 or your account balance (whichever is less) from an ATM per day, per card and may use your debit card to make purchases up to $100 each day as long as your available balance is sufficient to cover the aggregate of all purchases. 

Where can I use my OKCU Visa Debit Card?

At any of the millions of merchant locations worldwide that accept Visa Debit Cards. You can also use your OKCU Visa Debit Card at any of the 900+ no-surcharge ATM's in Oklahoma. In addition, you can use your card at any ATM that accepts, Transfund, Pulse or Visa, but a fee may be imposed.

What do I do if I lose my Visa Debit Card?

Call OKCU immediately at 405.606.6328 or 877. 677.6328. If it is before or after our normal business hours, call Transfund at 800.791.2525. Then, call OKCU as soon as possible on the next business day. It is also advisable to follow your call with a written notice to: Oklahoma's Credit Union Attn: Transfund Coordinator P.O. Box 24027 Oklahoma City, OK 73124.

How much money can I lose if someone steals my Debit Card and uses it?

If you notify us of the lost or stolen card and/or PIN within two business days, you will lose nothing if someone uses your card without your permission. If you DO NOT notify us within two business days after you learn of the loss or theft of your card and/or PIN, you could lose as much as $50. It is also important to always review your account statements carefully. If they show card transactions you did not make, notify us at once. If you do not notify us within 60 days after the statement mailing date, you may not be reimbursed for the withdrawal.
