Here's what that means.

In the midst of the 2008 financial crisis, the Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act (SAFE Act) was created to protect the economy from threats within the mortgage industry. Now all mortgage loan originators (MLOs) must be licensed and maintain an active registration with the federal government.

Oklahoma's Credit Union is happy to comply with federal regulations that protect our members, deter predatory lending and make our state's economy strong. Take a look at this list of OKCU employees who are licensed and registered through NMLS (Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System).
